Dear Diary,
I opened my laptop. According to James Clear in his book Atomic Habits, the small act of simply opening my laptop and sitting at it, even if for a very short time, is step one in building my new habit of daily writing. So, this counts, it’s day 1, it’s 4am, I’ve been up since 2:56am when I woke up naturally. I had a dream last night, I was in a house, taking care of people. I can’t remember much about it now. There was an adventure and weird happenings. I should have written it down. I used to write all my dreams down. I lost that habit and need to fight the laziness that stops me from accomplishing it. Well, I’ve got to be at the gym by 5am and then work until 4pm so it’s a busy day as usual. Guess I’ll get ready.
