You cannot see past to anything more beautiful

Like I am the center of your being

And you cannot bear to let go

I forget

Sometimes I need you to kiss me

And taste the softness of my soul

And the warmth of my heart

I forget

Sometimes I need you to want me

Your heart pounding and blood rushing

As you yearn to touch and please me

I forget

Sometimes I need you to remind me

Just how deep your love for me flows

Because even though I already know
